Dental Services - Tooth Extraction

Despite the best efforts of the patient and the dentist, sometimes there is no alternative but to extract a tooth.

Common reasons for tooth extractions include:

severe tooth decay or infection
severe gum (periodontal) disease
fractured teeth
insufficient space for the eruption of wisdom teeth
in preparation for orthodontic treatment.

Based on the difficulty of the extraction, it may be necessary for a patient to have an oral surgeon remove the tooth in question, in which case our office will make all necessary appointments and referrals.
